I’m Holly Elliott.

Registered Osteopath.

I became an Osteopath because I like to help people.

The knowledge and skills that one acquires through the osteopathic training has enabled me to do exactly what I’m passionate about - helping people.

That’s why my business is called Helping Hands Health and that’s why my ethos is to put head, heart and hands into my work. I believe this is the recipe to helping people best, from injury and dysfunction to performing their best in their day to day lives.

What I bring to my work with patients is the wealth of knowledge and skills I have as an osteopath and naturopath as well as my own personal communication and interpersonal skills which I’ve developed over many years through working in people facing roles.

I come from a professional dance background and obtained my Bachelors in Performing Arts from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. My main focus was teaching which I integrated with high-level performance work.  I taught nursery aged children through to professional adult classes. I’ve taught in community centres, studios, and schools; and in doing so worked with people from all sorts of different backgrounds and walks of life.

I was incredibly fortunate to be able to study Osteopathy at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine. Where I obtained my masters in osteopathy with distinction.

I understand that performing at our best is completely individual.  For some this means putting their socks on pain free in the morning while for others this means finishing their next ultra marathon.

“Thank you so much for your excellent care during my back troubles!  I daren’t think of how my story could have been so different without your help. Thanks again.”

“Holly is a fantastic Osteopath. She’s intuitive, sensitive and very experienced and can identify root causes and problem solve quickly. I often only need one session with her and I’m put right.  I’ve always enjoyed my sessions with her too – she’s a good listener and understands the relationship between mental and physical pain.”
